FAQ: If a precipitate forms during an RNA/Sce PUS1 incubation, what steps should be taken?
For certain RNA templates and the presence of high concentrations of Sce PUS1, RNA/Sce PUS1 aggregates may form and precipitate during the incubation. We recommend adding 4 µl of NEB Proteinase K (NEB #P8107) after the recommended incubation time, and then incubate for an additional 15 minutes at 24°C, followed by RNA purification with the NEB® Monarch® RNA Cleanup Kit.
