Programmable Nucleases

Site-specific gene modification and highly specific in vitro cutting is enabled by nucleases that can be easily programmed with nucleic acids. NEB’s portfolio of Cas enzymes support RNA-guided programmable cutting, binding, and nicking of DNA. In addition to RNA-guided Cas enzymes, Tth Argonaute (TtAgo) (NEB #M0665) can be programmed with DNA, further expanding the range of available tools.
